This is an excellent review book. It provides excellent review questions, answers and explanations as well as an exhaustive amount of review material. It gives a thorough breakdown of all the topics on the exam and then gives sample questions with in-depth answer explanations. I also found the sample tests to be somewhat difficult, which prepared me very well for the actual exam.
After studying with this review guide, I felt very confidant taking the actual subject test, which was a breeze being much easier than the practice tests in this book.
Overall this is an excellent review guide and I would recommend it to anyone as a review for the SAT Chem subject test as well as for any chemistry course as it is very comprehensive and well put together.

I read through this entire book in preparation for the chemistry SAT II. The book was relatively easy to read and understand. Yet, I do remember finding numerous mistakes in the answer key. Besides that, it did it's job - on the SAT II, I finished with 20 minutes left to check answers.. and got an 800.
